Mayor Chesen’s plans to appoint replacements for the suspended Aldermen on 9.14.2009 at 5:30pm.at city council chambers in the city of Lake Geneva. These persons, who he hand picks, will then decide if the fate of his political opponents he has  been at odds with the past year.

The appointments are:

Larry Magee former alderman, defeated by Penny Roehrer by 171 to 218 votes.

Mac McBride,  defeated by Mary Jo Fesenmaier twice (63 to 183 votes), and tried to sell the 37 acres the city owns at the Hillmoor Golf Course when he was Alderman for $2000 per acre.

Robert Flemming,  defeated by Tom Spellman by 190 to 269 votes, and also tried to sell the 37 acres the city owns at the Hillmoor Golf Course when he was Alderman for $2000 per acre.

Sturges Taggart, also defeated by Arlene Krohn in his try for office.

These are the Aldermen who were voted out of office by the very same Aldermen Mayor Chesen has “suspended”. The mayor plans to have a hearing on 9.24.2009 with these ‘appointments’ sitting in judgment of the Aldermen they were defeated by.

If this political tactic prevails every city council in the State of Wisconsin should feel a very cold chill.

Immediately following this special meeting the finance committee will meet and then council at 7:00pm
